Cool little museum. I went an hour out of my way to see it on Easter Sunday and it was well worth it. It's located in a personal residence in a very small town in a rather isolated area of the state; pretty convincing stories. But fun banter even if you're not a believer. Five stars!

Admission is free with the option to donate - you’ll find it more than worth a couple of bucks. You can also participate in ghost tours (2hr, 4hr, overnight etc).
Very cool place. Owner is engaging with visitors and extremely knowledgeable. Most items u are able to pick up and touch. A must visit if u r in the area.
The owner is a great host and storyteller and you can tell he really enjoys what he does.

New artifacts come in regularly by donation or procurement and the place is a work in progress with expansion on the way.

Super informative owner. He took the time to tell us so much history. Showed videos on local Bigfoot sightings and told us personal stories. They have a tv set up in one of the rooms, to show current news clips, videos, photos and EVP's. Great artifacts that the family has personally collected and have been given by people. The museum currently allows you to both photograph and touch the items. (Unusual and cool. Love it) If you have any questions, he has the answer.....and does so with a smile. You completely feel at home. Store has t-shirts, hats, mugs, stickers and yes, even Bigfoot coffee! Very reasonable prices too. I made it a point to visit this fairly new museum and it does not disappoint. Go for a visit....probably one of the cooler things I did while I was in NC.
